Transcription & SEO

I’ve been reaching out to YouTube content creators with a message that I learned from my transcription program, TranscribeAnywhere. The message is that you can boost your SEO with high-quality transcription services (i.e. using a human). It’s been fun finding channels that I really enjoy and then pulling up their transcriptions to see how they match up to their content. It’s clear that most channels are resorting to the automated transcription services that YouTube provides, and this service is incredibly inaccurate and incomplete. A lot of keywords that are part of the video may not make it into the transcript, meaning those keywords are being left on the table.

Though I haven’t had any success with my reach-outs (yet), I’ll keep trying. And, perhaps, by writing this and reposting this article I found today, maybe I will catch the attention of the some of the amazing content creators out there.
